Outdoor Activity

Outdoor Activity

What are they and what do they involve?

Outdoor activity venues can include a great many things, from relaxation to exhilarating sport! The outdoors includes anything not in a building; you can find activities such as nature trails, adventure playgrounds and parks/gardens outside!

What are the benefits?

Spending time outside is always beneficial, even if it’s just for the fresh air and a change in scenery! Participating in outdoor sport is fantastic for both physical and mental health, and learning about the environment and how to care for it is an important thing for everyone to learn about, regardless of age.

What students is it suitable for?

The outdoors is a great place for all students, so outdoor activity venues will entertain everyone; however, you should make sure that the location is suitable for the group! For example, older teenage students wont have much fun on an adventure playground designed for much smaller children!

Costs?

Outdoor venues will vary greatly in price, as some will be in completely free public areas while some need to charge entry fees; make sure to research this before you set off as you don’t want to surprised!

Safety Implications?

Younger children should always be carefully supervised when outdoors, especially in public areas!
