Parliamentary Education Centre
July 2015 saw the launch of Parliament’s brand new Education Centre, complete with Parliament-themed learning spaces, a lunch room and our exciting new Discovery space which immerses students in the Story of Parliament through 360° projection and sound technology.

Please bear in mind schools bookings are strictly on a first come first served basis once booking opens for the academic year. Please keep an eye on our website and twitter feed @UKParlEducation for details each September. We can only take requests via telephone, not e-mail. Make sure you know what to expect beforehand by reading our information for bookings day.

Outreach
We know not every school in the UK can visit Westminster and the Houses of Parliament. Here are some of the ways to bring Parliament, citizenship and political literacy into your classroom.
Competitions and Awards
Parliament's Education Service runs a range of competitions to engage your students with Parliament and politics, and to reward excellence in school councils. Prizes for winning schools can include a day at the Houses of Parliament.
School Workshops
The Education Outreach team helps to inspire and engage your students in their political literacy lessons by running workshops in schools around the country. Every session is led by our friendly, experienced team of Education Outreach officers, who have a range of specialist knowledge.

Regional Events
Regional events take place in different parts of the UK and bring learning about Parliament to your local area. Several take place over the course of the school year, focusing on different age groups and different parts of the country.
Theatre in Education workshops
A Theatre in Education performance with workshops for years 5 and 6 students - open to East Anglia primary schools only.
