Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

A visit to the Secret Hills exhibition will reveal some of the stories hidden in the landscape. You can meet their mammoth and pretend what life was like in the Iron Age.

The exhibition's centre-piece, a panoramic film shot from a hot air balloon, lets you look at this stunning area from a unique perspective.

You are more than welcome to just pop in to the Centre without visiting the Secret Hills exhibition. You will find visitor information, a cafe serving home cooked food, a gallery featuring displays by local artists, and free internet access. Or you can explore the Onny Meadows, take a walk along the Shropshire Way, do one of their circular walks, or go Geocaching - a hi-tech treasure hunt through the countryside.

There are also many events major and minor throughout the year.
