Dearne Valley opened its doors as the new Kingswood centre in 2012. Following a multi-million pound investment programme, Dearne Valley is our most environmentally sustainable centre, complete with one of Europe’s largest solar panels and an on-site waste recycling plant.

With newly designed ropes courses, an indoor climbing wall, zipwires, a fantastic 105 m2 indoor sports hall and outdoor sports complex with more than 35 exciting activities, this centre offers adventure at every turn. New for 2014, we are introducing watersports activities to Dearne Valley.
Student Facilities
Dearne Valley can accommodate up to 300 young people. All dormitories have en-suite bathrooms and 4-10 beds.
Students sleep in warm purpose-built dormitory-style accommodation. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests. Teacher rooms are at the end of each corridor. All student and teacher rooms are en-suite.
To fuel young guests during a long day of thrilling adventure activities, we serve three hot meals per day, with lots of choice and seasonal variations. Each day there is a carefully balanced nutritional meal plan, recently updated to meet and exceed the latest Government standards on children’s meals.
Teacher facilities
Our recently refreshed teacher bedrooms are complete with contemporary furnishings, tea and coffee making facilities and radio-alarm/iPod docking stations.
