Kenilworth Treasure Trail

Kenilworth Treasure Trail

A fun way to explore the small and historic town of Kenilworth in the green heart of Warwickshire. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights!

enilworth is home to the ruins of England’s most important lake fortress which Queen Elizabeth I visited on several occasions.

She was entertained with lavish banquets and pageants that cost a hefty £1000 per day! The town also boasts remains of a medieval monastery, the beautiful Abbey Fields and many old timber houses and inns. Let us take you through the streets and fields of this historic town to find where the hidden treasure can be found!

Children and adults love competing to solve the clues and don’t even realise they are learning about the area. The answers to the clues are located on permanent plaques, memorials and markers. Some are easy to find and some a bit trickier!

The Trail can be done in your own time and at your own pace and is suitable for ages 6 or 7 up to 106.
