Glynn Vivian Art Gallery

Glynn Vivian Learning team continue to deliver an offsite programme of full and half day workshops to take place within schools while the Gallery is closed for redevelopment.

We aim to inspire people through experience and enjoyment of art, past and present, encouraging engagement through the many creative opportunities presented by our programme, in order to explore today's culture with forward-looking values, and to enrich and support the future regeneration of our city.

Our Learning and engagement programme is integral to our work, meeting the needs of diverse audiences across the city with an open, engaging and transformative approach to participation. We continue to engage in outreach and audience development initiatives, steadily increasing participation for both existing and new audiences from a range of diverse backgrounds and cultures, including a sharp focus on anti-poverty initiatives in our inner city areas.

Glynn Vivian Away Days

Glynn Vivian Away Days provides an opportunity for a class to work in school with their teacher and engage in activities that will explore the Gallery and its collection. One of our team of artists will visit the school with specially selected resources and materials for an exciting day of activities.
