For generations, this estate was a hive of farming activity; producing enough milk, cheese and bread to adequately supply the household and its workers.

Today, our friendly room guides bring the house to life and share the fascinating stories that have made this special place an award-winning visitor attraction. Going into the Hall feels like walking through someone's home; it has a cosy lived-in feel, and creates a relaxing atmosphere where visitors can feel at ease examining the exquisite embroideries and blackwork, oak furniture and pewter.
