Buckinghamshire Railway Centre

A working steam museum where you can step back in time to the steam age. On steaming open days visitors can ride in vintage carriages pulled by a full sized steam engine and on our extensive miniature railway.

Visitor Centre with many interesting and historic exhibits, restaurant and gift shop. Outside exhibits, two museums, two restoration sheds where visitors can see on-going projects, picnic areas. 1 km-long Miniature Railway, crossings, loops, stations, even a tunnel and a Garden Railway. Plus a coach used by Winston Churchill and Dwight D. Eisenhower for secret war strategy planning meetings.

Regular Thomas the Tank Engine weekends, vintage transport weekends, special days for children, their parents and grand-parents.
