Bexhill Museum offers something for everyone from local history and archaeology to fashion and Bexhill’s motor heritage.

The unique collections are housed in a distinctive building which combines a traditional Edwardian museum with a modern extension.

The Museum runs a wide range of special events, activities and workshops throughout the year for children, families and adults.

Schools

Bexhill Museum offers visits to the museum, outreach to schools and guided walks. 

We have developed a teacher's pack which is now available online! Teachers' Pack

Besides the subjects described in our Teachers’ Pack, we also run enhanced sessions on;

  • the Stone Age and

  • Smuggling (as part of a local history study) to support the new National Curriculum starting September 2014.

Group bookings are available Monday to Friday all year round, subject to booking and availability. To make your booking you can either print off the pdf and mail it to the museum

Education Room

The Education Room can accommodate up to 30 children (seated) with accompanying staff. Larger groups can be booked depending upon requirements.
